Operating Options.
The operating devices must be compatible with the motors, so for ease of understanding, we have identified the options from both Somfy and Louvolite.
The following operating devices do not require wiring to go to them.
Somfy
- Situo 1 - This allows for a simple operation of one Blind to operate.
- Situo 5 - This provides the operator with the option of five separate channels. You could operate five Blinds individually, and when all channels selected, all the blinds will operate at a press of a button.
- Smoove Wireless Wall Switch - This is usually located adjacent to the item. The Switch's design allows you to select the centre and trim colours to match your room decor.
Louvolite
- OneTouch 1 Channel - This Remote allows for a simple operation of one blind.
- OneTouch 6 Channel - This Remote with six channels allows up to six blinds to be controlled.
- OneTouch 16 Channel - This Remote with sixteen channels allows up to sixteen blinds to be operated throughout the house.
Motors for Blinds in Bracknell.
We can offer a variety of motors for Blinds from the leading suppliers Somfy and Louvolite.
One of the most common issues we have is that when customers have previously had motorised blinds installed, they are a lot noisier than those displayed in our Showroom.
It is important to see and hear the motors operating prior to purchasing. This will ensure you purchase the correct motor for how you wish to operate the product.
Somfy Motors
Somfy are considered one of the World leaders in motorisation for the Blinds and Awnings industry having an extensive range of motors and methods of control.
For Roller Blinds we usually supply the Sonesse motor. This is one of, if not, the quietest motors and has many options for controlling the Blind.
For small size Roller Blinds that are not convenient to install a mains power supply, we offer a Lithium-Ion Battery Motor and for non-accessible areas we offer the Lithium-Ion Battery Motor with a small Solar Panel to re-charge.
Louvolite Motors
Louvolite are a major UK supplier of material and components to the Blinds industry and have a range of OneTouch motors designed to offer motorisation to a larger audience that is more cost-effective.
The Lithium-Ion Motor can be re-charged via a small charger supplied. Ideal for locations that cannot have a mains power supply that may have a higher frequency of operation. A small Solar Panel charger is also available.
Mains powered motors are also available from Louvolite for any larger Blinds that may be needed.
